Baseball Recap: Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Wins Going Away Against Tidewater Academy

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot won the last time they faced Tidewater Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights were the clear victors by an 18-6 margin over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Pete Bodman was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Taylor Hamner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tidewater Academy only managed six hits.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tidewater Academy, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.
