Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). They took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 89-21 victory over the Mountain View Mountain Lions. The win was familiar territory for the Roughriders, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roosevelt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryanne Bahnsen-Price, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Bahnsen-Price a new career-high in blocks (five). Kyla Hollier was another key player, dropping a double-double with 31 points and 11 boards.

Roosevelt smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Roosevelt's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points over those games. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Severance at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Roosevelt's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. As for Mountain View, they will take on Wellington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View is facing Wellington at the right time seeing as Wellington is stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
