Volleyball Recap: Norwich Free Academy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Killingly

There's no place like home for Norwich Free Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Killingly Trailbazers on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Trailbazers: they've now won six in a row.

Norwich Free Academy was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-18.

Norwich Free Academy found their leader in freshman Janiah Carter, who had 11 digs and two aces. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Carter.

Norwich Free Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Killingly, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Norwich Free Academy will take on East Lyme at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Killingly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
