There's no place like home for West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Connally Cadets with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Cadets: they've now won seven in a row.

One reason for the win was West's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-14.

West's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Connally, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, West will square off against Ponder at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Connally has already played their next match (against Bastrop), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
