Basketball Game Preview: Froid/Medicine Lake Redhawks vs. Brockton Warriors

Froid/Medicine Lake is 10-0 against Brockton since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Froid/Medicine Lake Redhawks will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Brockton Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Froid/Medicine Lake is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 59-36 margin over Culbertson on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Redhawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Brockton faced Savage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Brockton rang in the new year with a 50-38 victory over Savage. While Brockton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Brockton's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Froid/Medicine Lake, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Froid/Medicine Lake strolled past Brockton in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 59-42. Does Froid/Medicine Lake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Brockton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
