The Thompson Warriors got the win against the Whitney Young Dolphins on Tuesday by a conclusive 13-5. Considering the Warriors have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Thompson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. Whitney Young is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Thompson will take on Marian Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitney Young, they will face off against Wauconda at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
