Baseball Recap: St. Charles vs. North Point Eagles
St. Charles had lost five straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 3-12 to make it six. They fell just short of the North Point Eagles by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Charles of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
As for North Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games.
