Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy). They blew past the Midview Middies 68-39 on Saturday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-18.

Several Middies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Leah DiFranco, who went 5-for-11 en route to 15 points. That was a full 38.5% of Midview's points, marking the seventh time in a row DiFranco has posted more than a third of the team's points. Hunter Crum was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Midview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Coming up, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy will be playing at home against Tallmadge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
