While Marion put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Carbondale. The Wildcats blew past the Terriers 10-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Marion has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Carbondale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion will square off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carbondale, they will take on Granite City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Terriers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
