It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Chesnee had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Chesterfield Golden Rams as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Chesnee walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Maggie Foy, who had 11 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Foy wasn't the only good servers: Chesnee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

Chesnee's win bumped their record up to 21-4-1. As for Chesterfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Chesnee will face off against Strom Thurmond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chesterfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
