Pomona has gone 9-1 against Edgewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pomona Red Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Edgewood Lions at 6:30 p.m. Pomona's offense hasn't had much luck over their past six matches, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pomona is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against La Puente on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Pomona was beaten by La Puente 60-18. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-11.

Despite the loss, Pomona had strong showings from Rjay Hill, who posted two points, and Darren Arrington, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Edgewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 42-34 victory over Bassett on Tuesday.

Edgewood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12. As for Pomona, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Pomona beat Edgewood 62-53 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Edgewood's Champ Harris, who had 25 points.
