Auburn waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with an 8-4 win over Non Varsity Opponent.

Auburn saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clayton Brown, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Brown is becoming a predictor of the Bulldogs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Another was Griffin Sikora, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Auburn hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Auburn pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Auburn didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 win against Kansas City East Christian Academy on the 12th. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool on the 11th.
