After a string of six wins, Vale's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Nyssa Bulldogs by a score of 11-10. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Vale's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for Nyssa, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vale will host Riverside at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nyssa, they will welcome Baker/Powder Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
