Softball Recap: South Summit Wildcats vs. Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle
South Summit was the 11-1 winner over Juan Diego Catholic when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The South Summit Wildcats fell just short of the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle by a score of 12-11 on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mariah Bowen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Brinley Stapleton, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles.
