Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Huskies vs. Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Highland, Hillcrest was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs. The Huskies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Max Cannon was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-5. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Roman Wolf, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Cannon wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Hillcrest kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
