Softball Game Preview: Graceville Tigers vs. Bethlehem Wildcats

The Graceville Tigers will square off against the Bethlehem Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Graceville fell victim to Ponce De Leon and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Pirates. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem came up short against Ponce De Leon last Tuesday, falling 15-3.

Bethlehem saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alana Morales, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Ruby Bailey was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Graceville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bethlehem, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Graceville's way against Bethlehem in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, as Graceville made off with a 16-1 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
