Football Recap: Dysart Demons vs. Mohave Thunderbirds
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dysart). They were the clear victor by a 40-14 margin over the Mohave Thunderbirds on Thursday.
A big part of Dysart's victory came down to the chemistry between Yen Doan and her top target Brianna Brown. Doan threw for 299 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per attempt while Brown picked up 274 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Doan's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked her sixth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.
The win got Dysart back to even at 8-8. As for Mohave, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
As of now, neither Dysart nor Mohave have any future games scheduled.
