Preview: SouthLake Christian Academy vs. Concord Academy Eagles

SouthLake Christian Academy will look to defend their home court against the Concord Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. SouthLake Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 395th, while Concord Academy is ranked 40th).
SouthLake Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 10, 2023 last Monday. They were beaten by Pine Lake Prep 55-24.
In what's become a running theme this season, Concord Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Westminster Catawba Christian 80-18 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Concord Academy sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Concord Academy found their leader in underclassman Justice Alexander, who scored 31 points along with seven steals and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Alexander has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Meyers, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
SouthLake Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Concord Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
SouthLake Christian Academy was taken down by Concord Academy 80-23 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point SouthLake Christian Academy was down 48-17.
