Baseball Recap: Abbott RVT's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Abbott RVT entered their tilt with O'Brien RVT on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Condors with a sharp 12-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jake Farrell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He has become a key player for Abbott RVT: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyler Waterbury, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Abbott RVT is 5-1 when Waterbury posts two or more runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Rayne Gallaway was another key player, earning two RBI and two stolen bases.

Abbott RVT pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for O'Brien RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
