After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Santa Fe Prep, Espanola Valley was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Grants Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 two weeks ago.

Espanola Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Grants between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-16.

The win snapped Espanola Valley's losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 4-8 record. As for Grants, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Espanola Valley will take on Robertson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grants, they will challenge Aztec at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
