Basketball Recap: Serena Wins Going Away Against Earlville

Serena won the last time they faced Earlville and things went their way on Monday too. The Serena Huskers strolled past the Earlville Red Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 46-30. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Huskers were the (much) better team in the second half.

Earlville's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Easton Fruit, who posted ten points. What's more, Fruit also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Adam Waite, who put up six points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.

Serena is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-15 record this season. Earlville's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-19.

As of now, neither Serena nor Earlville have any future games scheduled.
