Football Recap: Fullington Academy Piles Up the Points Against Grace Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against David Emanuel Academy, Fullington Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Grace Christian Academy Cougars 52-6. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Fullington Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Blake Hendrickson, who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 56 yards. Hendrickson has become a key player for the Trojans: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Aidan Hill, who gained 132 total yards and a touchdown.

The victory got Fullington Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Fullington Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sherwood Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-38 defeat against Covenant Academy on the 10th.
