After both having extra time off, the Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves and the Forest Lake Christian Falcons will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning will be strutting in after a victory while Forest Lake Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Forest Lake Christian will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning extended their winning streak to three last Thursday. The Fire Wolves put the hurt on Foresthill with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Forest Lake Christian lost 3-0 to John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin last Thursday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-12.

Forest Lake Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Everything went Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning's way against Forest Lake Christian when the teams last played back in March, as Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fire Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
