Softball Recap: Aransas Pass Comes Up Short

Aransas Pass lost against Mathis back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 13-3 to the Pirates. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Aransas Pass saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aizlynn Ramirez, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Aransas Pass' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Mathis, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Aransas Pass will take on rival West Oso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mathis is set to challenge their familiar foe Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
