Justin Garza hasn't had much luck against Madera recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Justin Garza Guardians will square off against the Madera Coyotes at 3:30 p.m. Justin Garza is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Justin Garza is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past San Joaquin Memorial 19-1 on Tuesday. While the Guardians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Aditi Sood made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sood was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Sood is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Harmony Cook was a standout: she scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Riley Nason, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Justin Garza always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .707. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2024.
Meanwhile, Madera suffered their biggest defeat since February 15, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to Redwood. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Coyotes were not able to get on the board.

Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Justin Garza hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .398. However, it's not like Madera struggles in that department as they've averaged .355. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Justin Garza suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Madera in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can Justin Garza avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
