The Taylorsville Warriors will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Cyprus Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to post eight more assists than your opponent, a fact Taylorsville proved on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-47 win over Kearns.
Among those leading the charge was Ella Wolfgramm, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marlee Reupena, who scored ten points along with six assists and five steals.
Meanwhile, Cyprus didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hunter on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 47-43 victory.
Cyprus got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tamila Francis out in front who scored 12 points along with three steals. Francis hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Calee Sharp, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
The win got Taylorsville back to even at 7-7. As for Cyprus, the win also got them back to even at 7-7.
