Basketball Recap: Fort Atkinson Comes Up Short

Fort Atkinson lost against Beaver Dam back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fort Atkinson Blackhawks took a 65-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Golden Beavers are ranked 18th).

Fort Atkinson dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Beaver Dam, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Fort Atkinson has already played their next game (against Delavan-Darien), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Beaver Dam wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-40 defeat against Laconia on the 3rd.
