Baseball Recap: Tenoroc Takes a Loss

Tenoroc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Zephyrhills Bulldogs, falling 31-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in February.

Tenoroc saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelvin Perez Fuentes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one double.

Tenoroc's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Zephyrhills, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-12 record.

Tenoroc didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-1 defeat against Lake Placid on the 31st. As for Zephyrhills, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against Clearwater on the 31st.
