Volleyball Recap: Union City Takes a Loss

Union City lost against Bronson back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Union City was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-23, 25-18.

Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Bronson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-3 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Union City and Springport will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bronson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Portage Northern on the 20th.
