Volleyball Recap: Adele Veach and Lucy Gonzalez Secure Win for Wesleyan Christian Academy + How To Watch

While Wesleyan Christian Academy's victory against Caldwell Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Eagles on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Wesleyan Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 18-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-9.

Leading Wesleyan Christian Academy to victory were Lucy Gonzalez and Adele Veach. Gonzalez had seven digs and five aces, while Veach had 13 digs and three assists. What's more, Gonzalez posted two assists, the most she's had since back in August. Ella Joyce also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
