Basketball Recap: Freeland Wins Going Away Against Garber

Freeland entered their tilt with Garber on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Garber Dukes with a sharp 72-50 win. The game marked the Falcons' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Freeland pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Garber, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Freeland will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Frankenmuth at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
