Despite the defeat, Tug Valley saw an underclassman step up: Bailee Hall dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Deskins, who scored 13 points along with two steals.

Meanwhile, Man managed to keep up with River View until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Man was beaten by River View 68-30. Man was down 46-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Tug Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Man, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.
