Aberdeen has gone 4-0 against Kenwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Aberdeen Eagles will head out to face off against the Kenwood Bluebirds at 5:30 p.m. Aberdeen will be strutting in after a victory while Kenwood will be coming in after a defeat.

Aberdeen took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took down North East 44-25.

Meanwhile, Kenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-29 heartbreaker at the hands of Woodlawn.

Aberdeen will need focus on slowing down Makayla Horton, one of several Kenwood players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Ullah, who had nine points.

Kenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Aberdeen, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Aberdeen strolled past Kenwood in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 58-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aberdeen since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
