Fleming lost to Staunton River back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Colonels enjoyed a cozy 33-14 victory over the Golden Eagles.

Fleming had a senior duo take command as Daedae Faulkner rushed for 96 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries and Josiah Ragland rushed for 117 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Faulkner also put up two rushing touchdowns, which were his first of the season.

Fleming was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 239 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Staunton River only rushed for 20.

Fleming didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Faulkner and Elijah Thomas.

The win got Fleming back to even at 3-3. As for Staunton River, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-3.
