Who's up and who's down

Even if things were shuffled around here and there, the power rankings for this week won't seem too unfamiliar if you've been following along. Don't let that fool you into thinking nothing interesting happened, though. The action last week included a one-point thriller between St. Johnsbury Academy and Hartford.

No Stoppin 'Em

66. That was the combined point total for Fair Haven and Bellows Falls when they went head to head last week, and it set the benchmark for all power ranking teams. Fair Haven took its contest against Bellows Falls by a conclusive 46 - 20 score. As a result, Fair Haven rose three spots in the power rankings.

Can't Stop Won't Stop

It was another outing, another win last week for the team with the longest stretch of success (11 consecutive games). St. Johnsbury Academy won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Hartford 33 - 32. St. Johnsbury Academy and Hartford were a much more even match than St. Johnsbury Academy's previous opponent, giving the fans a heck of a game.
