Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Omar Hurt and Anthony Azcuidiaz Lead Lehigh Valley Academy to Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lehigh Valley Academy). They blew past Upper Bucks Christian 69-44 on Thursday. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Upper Bucks Christian, too.

Lehigh Valley Academy was led to victory by Anthony Azcuidiaz and Omar Hurt. Azcuidiaz posted 12 points, while Hurt had 12 points. Journey Scott was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The win got Lehigh Valley Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Upper Bucks Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lehigh Valley Academy will take on Tamaqua at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Upper Bucks Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lehigh Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
