Basketball Recap: Lakota West Takes a Loss

Lakota West lost against Mason back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lakota West Firebirds took a hard 51-37 fall against the Mason Comets. The match marked the Firebirds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Madison Parrish was her usual excellent self, going 9 of 16 on her way to 26 points for Mason. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Habra, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Lakota West is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Mason, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Lakota West will challenge Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mason, they will take on Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mason is facing Fairfield at the right time seeing as Fairfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
