Volleyball Recap: Bremen Lions vs. Jimtown Jimmies
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bremen can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Jimtown Jimmies on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since September 24th.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 25-16.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Kincaid, who had 15 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Sahlhoff, who had 12 digs.
Jimtown can attribute much of their success to Ava Armour, who had 13 digs.
Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Jimtown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-16.
Bremen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jimtown, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Boone Grove at 4:00 p.m.
