The Morgan Mustangs will be playing at home against the Armwood Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Morgan has given up an average of 14.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Morgan fell victim to Freedom and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 22-0.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Armwood and Spoto, and Armwood kept the tradition alive. The Hawks put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 18-6 victory on Tuesday. The Hawks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17, 2025 (when they won 18-1).

Azaria Hall was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Tikema Jackson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

It's a different story for Armwood, though, as they've been averaging 13.1 hits. Given Morgan's sizable advantage in that area, the Hawks will need to find a way to close that gap.
