Volleyball Recap: Bemidji Comes Up Short

Bemidji lost against Detroit Lakes back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks came up short against the Lakers, falling 3-0. The Lumberjacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Bemidji had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-20.

Detroit Lakes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Ramsey, who had 19 assists and three aces. That's the most assists Ramsey has posted over her last six contests.

Bemidji's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Detroit Lakes, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13.

Bemidji has already played their next matchup (against Brainerd), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Detroit Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Hawley on the 9th.
