Riverside skates past Woodmont with ease

Recap: Riverside Warriors vs. Woodmont Wildcats

The Riverside Warriors won the last time they faced the Woodmont Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Riverside took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 82-32 victory over Woodmont. Given Riverside's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Woodmont is ranked 91st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Riverside to victory were Kyndal Haroski and Madison Garrido. Haroski scored 15 points along with 5 steals, while Garrido scored 21 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The match was Haroski 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Elly Trickett, who scored 10 points.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Woodmont, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Riverside's road trip will continue as they head out to face James F. Byrnes at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. James F. Byrnes' defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Riverside's offense will have their work cut out for Riverside. As for Woodmont, they will be playing at home against Eastside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
