Basketball Recap: Northwest Halifax Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Northwest Halifax won the last time they faced Northampton County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Northwest Halifax Vikings managed a 37-33 victory over the Northampton County Jaguars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Northampton County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaniyah Bottoms, who posted 11 points, and Kaiyah Cherry, who put up 11 points and six rebounds. Those 11 points gave Bottoms a new career-high.

Northwest Halifax's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games.
