Basketball Recap: South Panola Takes a Loss

South Panola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Center Hill Mustangs. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 56-39 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Panola's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Center Hill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-7.

While South Panola had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
