Softball Recap: Eustace Comes Up Short

Eustace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Grand Saline Indians. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Eustace's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Grand Saline, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

Eustace will challenge Winona at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Winona has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.6 runs per game on average), something Eustace will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Grand Saline, they will face off against Quitman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
