North Callaway can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They put the hurt on Louisiana with a sharp 60-40 victory.
Isiah Craighead and Sam Pezold were among the main playmakers for North Callaway as the former scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals and the latter scored 22 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. The match was Craighead's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Paul Russell was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Paris' victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for North Callaway, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Paris was taken down by North Callaway 90-29 in their previous matchup back in December of 2020. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Paris was down 56-13.
