They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 16-6 walloping at the hands of the Franklin Quakers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Grant of the 13-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on April 8th.
For Franklin's part, they got a massive performance out of Elsie Ostrom, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
