Basketball Game Preview: North Mahaska Warhawks vs. Belle Plaine Plainsmen

After both having extra time off, the North Mahaska Warhawks and the Belle Plaine Plainsmen will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Mahaska has seven straight wins, Belle Plaine has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, North Mahaska humbled Moravia with a 75-16 victory. The Warhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-12, which was the final score in Belle Plaine's tilt against B-G-M last Friday.

North Mahaska's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for Belle Plaine, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
