Volleyball Recap: Cameron Wins Going Away Against Cumberland

Cameron barely beat Cumberland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets blew past the Beavers 3-0 on Tuesday. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Beavers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cameron was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-2, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Emerson Krahenbuhl, who had four aces and three digs. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Jadyn Siemers also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Cameron was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. They are 8-4 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cameron picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 14-12. As for Cumberland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-24 record this season.
