Softball Game Preview: West Morgan Rebels vs. Good Hope Raiders

The West Morgan Rebels will face off against the Good Hope Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

West Morgan's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Falkville as they made off with a 7-0 win. The game marked the Rebels' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Good Hope came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 10-0 win. That's two games straight that the Raiders have won by exactly ten runs.

Good Hope pushed their record up to 17-8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for West Morgan, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-18-1.
