The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Robert Toombs Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Vidalia Heritage Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on David Emanuel Academy with a sharp 6-0 win two weeks ago. The high-scoring effort was just what Robert Toombs Christian Academy needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit David Emanuel Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kailen Brantley (3), Madaline Wolfe, Alayna Wimpey, and Maribeth Stephens.

Meanwhile, Vidalia Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to Central Fellowship Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Vidalia Heritage Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 367th, while Central Fellowship Christian Academy are ranked 90th).

Robert Toombs Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Everything went Robert Toombs Christian Academy's way against Vidalia Heritage Academy in their previous meeting back in March, as Robert Toombs Christian Academy made off with a 5-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
